Young and highly talented, Mauricio Lorca started creating his own wines with grapes from his high-altitude vineyards in Vistaflores, Uco Valley, just four years ago. He is currently the winemaker at Bodega Enrique Foster, as well as the winemaker at his own winery Mauricio Lorca Bodega & Vinedos.

2011 FANTASIA TORRONTES

Concentrated aromas of Jasmine and peach followed by gorgeously silky ripe fruit and lively acidity. Torrontes produces a unique symbiosis with spicy food and Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes. It pairs marvelously with Northern Argentinean food, such as the typical empanadas and corn stew.

2008 GRAN POETICO PETIT VERDOT

12 month in new oak barrels, 90% French and 10% American oak. Intense and deep red color, almost black. Also very intense in the nose, showing its great concentration complexity of aromas, where many spicy notes can be found along with blackberries, raspberries and chocolate. Powerful entrance, excellent structure, endless persistence.
