2008 MERLOT

Bright ruby red. Black currant aromas are prominent with notes of black forest cake. A delicate wine with soft juicy tannins making it very accessible on the palate. Hints of oak spice is also prevalent. Rich chocolate and Mocha aromas combine well with darker berries and subtle hints of spice. Soft juicy tannins, backed up with hints of vanilla and blueberries.

2007 SHIRAZ

Bright opaque red. Cedar wood and tobacco aromas dominate the nose with jasmine undertones. Sweet vanilla flavours backed up with mineral tannins and a fine clay element. Great mid palate weight lead to a long, lingering finish.

2006 CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Opaque with a bright purple rim. Ripe black currant and mulberry aromas followed by dark cherry, plum and fine oak. Deep and rich with layers of black fruit flavours balanced by some cedary oak. Signs of youthful fruit come to the fore, followed by a long, fruit-filled finish with spicy notes at the end.

2007 ESTATE · CABERNET/SHIRAZ/MERLOT

Deep crimson red. Savoury oak aromas combined with mocha coffee and pencil shavings. Hints of dark fruit, plum and cassis also come to the fore. This wine shows great structure and balance. Initial Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics are followed up with a spicy finish from the Shiraz. Dark chocolate and berry flavours are prominent.

2006 CIRRUS · SYRAH/VIOGNIER

Dark, intense. Rich, classic red fruit aromas, most notably plum and mulberries, are immediately prevalent on the nose, and supported by subtle floral aromas emerging from the small amount of Viognier added to the wine. This initial orange peel impression from the Viognier is overpowered by attractive red fruit flavours on the mid palate. The wine shows ripe, oaky tannins and a well structured finish. 1700 cases made.
